Sales Development Representative - Commercial, Financial Institutions (Finance)
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales organization. This role will prospect and develop qualified sales opportunities for the Commercial sales team and focus specifically on Financial Institutions and Credit Unions. SDRs are responsible for supporting, winning, and developing opportunities within current and prospective accounts through, but not limited to, outbound cold-calling efforts, email campaigns, and/or inbound lead qualification.
What you will do
Regular communication and strategy with product management and sales/service
Research and analyze prospective targets for Payments Solutions industry
Manage all Lead Source opportunities in conjunction with Sales Mgr
Improve communication regarding the Lead outcome with the field service team
Support all marketing campaign - follow up and appointment setting
Assist in developing target lists for all campaigns (marketing or specialty focus)
Update Contact database (SFDC) - meetings, notes and prospecting
Coordinate with Sales Mgr calendar and schedule meetings based on geographic visits
Manage monthly "touch" campaigns for new business development
Follow up on all web cast and eSeminar leads
Assist with seminars, tradeshows and conferences (attendance - as requested)
Assist with references and Request for Proposal (RFP) process (as requested)
Support sales/service team regarding product lead qualification and appointments
Provide regular updates to product management and sales/service teams
Manage business development metrics and revenue generated
Data Mining and research sales territory and accounts
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a business related major or field of study
Lead generation, outbound telephone cold-calling, and b2b appointment setting experience, preferably involving Director, Senior, or "C" level executives
Ability to open doors via telephone conversations and reach key decision-makers
Knowledge of 'contact' databases and CRMs such as SFDC
Experience using the Google Suite
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
Persuasive writing and communication skills

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $55,000 to $68,000. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
