Lead Field Service Technician (Finance)



You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Columbus office in the Portsmouth, Ohio area on a remote work schedule.

In this role, you will impact on the operational excellence of our customers' facilities, ensuring that all control systems function optimally and meet their rigorous demands. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing their automation systems, contributing to the overall success of our district.As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will lead our Field Service team, optimize operations, and drive customer satisfaction and business growth through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, and automation technologies.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining industrial control systems.
• Experience with BACnet and Tridium N4 technologies.
• Knowledge of Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems and their applications in HVAC.
• Experience in computer component replacement and upgrades.

WE VALUE
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Be a part of our team maintaining and troubleshooting control systems and automation equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction with control system solutions.
  • Utilize BACnet and Tridium N4 technologies to enhance building automation and control systems.
  • Maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) across various sectors including industrial, commercial real estate, healthcare, and airports to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of BMS to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades or repairs.
  • Coordinate with facility management teams to ensure that BMS supports operational needs and enhances energy efficiency.
