Operations Senior Supervisor (Finance)



Shift: 2nd shift on site

As an Operations Sr Supervisor, you will oversee a team of pharmacy technicians focused on ensuring top notch quality for our patients by processing prescriptions and following standard operating procedure .

What you'll do:

  • Manage and Lead the Technician Team
  • Create and foster a positive team engagement and culture
  • Attend and participate in enterprise work streams
  • Collaborate with team and peers to create improved processes and best practices
  • Review daily performance metrics and drive accountability
  • Schedule and monitor staff and day to day workflow
  • Collaborate with other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly meetings, huddles and technician coaching.
  • Meet bi-weekly with manager for a touch base
  • Prepare for weekly touch base, staffing meeting, huddles and site level meetings
  • Review, coach and responds to quality issues
  • Scheduling, managing, and tracking employee time and absences

What you'll need:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in operations processing
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
  • Valid NJ state pharmacy technician license preferred (not a requirement)
  • Strong leader with emotional intelligence and ability to engage, enable and develop staff
  • Proficient in use of PC based systems used: Microsoft Office, On Base, Excel, and Access.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and assist team members
  • Experience with training and coaching less experienced staff with the patience to explain details and processes
  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and make independent decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging conversations in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The shift for this role will fall within the operating hours of Sunday - Thursday (5:00AM - Midnight) and Friday (5:00AM - 3:30PM). Final schedule will be within those timeframes and may be four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts equaling 40 hours per week.

This role is Worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite. You must be fully vaccinated if you're to come onsite OR undergo testing twice a week.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
