Assistant Shop Mechanic (Maintenance)
The Maintenance Group, LLC is searching for individuals that want to perform Mechanical repair and maintenanceon TMG landscape equipment and Automobiles. We expect interested parties to obtain additional training andskills & take pride in servicing our Auto and Equipment needs to keep our ohana at work safe. This positionrequires a satisfactory completion of a DMV Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
Job Duties
Daily Safety/Gate check with any team members to ensure all team members have safe and operating toolsand equipment.
Visually Inspect Daily and communicate with team members to ensure all tools and supplies are in a safeworking order.
Perform tasks with minimal supervision and communicate any safety concerns as they arise.
Perform general routine maintenance duties such as degreasing, troubleshooting, lubricating, sharpening,filter changes, hydraulic and engine oil levels, signal operations utilizing trained company techniques.
Daily cleaning and maintenance procedures on utility carts, tools, vehicles, and equipment and shop at theclose of the day.
Assist Account Manager with communication efforts between crew and Manager.
Be willing to train and enhance knowledge in assigned duties.Qualifications for Landscape Assistant Mechanic
Possess the necessary experience in a Mechanical Equipment and Auto repairs at least 2 years.
Abides by policies of clients and The Maintenance Group, LLC and treats guests, customers, staff, teammembers, crew leaders, & supervisors with respect and the spirit of Aloha.
Must be able to safely operate ALL maintenance equipment, utility cart, and vehicles
Possess Job knowledge of Basic Mechanical repairs and maintenance for auto and equipment repairs.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., perform duties that require standing, kneeling, walking, bending, etc. for a longperiod of time, and work outdoors
Work safely and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment & uniform provided.
Good attendance and punctuality for assigned schedule and perform additional tasks if assigned.
