Step into Your New Role

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager with 6+ years of experience in San Diego, CA office. Location is flexible between San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, or Inland Empire. Our Water Team is built on a strong foundation in San Diego County and is quickly growing our practice with new clients in Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire.

Candidates must be highly experienced in the technical aspects of municipal water/wastewater engineering projects and possess strong technical expertise in delivering engineering services to public agency clients

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop both technical expertise and project management skills in water and wastewater infrastructure projects and grow into technical leadership and/or project and client account management.

Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing municipal and agency clients with professional engineering services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

If selected, the candidate will lead and/or work with technical teams and be expected to provide a diverse range of water/wastewater engineering services which could include:

  • Design (Production of design documents from basis of design through final for: water/wastewater process, conveyance, municipal infrastructure design projects)
  • Condition Assessment (Pump Stations, Pipelines, Equipment, Facilities)
  • Planning (treatment and infrastructure studies, modeling, capital improvements, asset management)
  • Technical specifications
  • Bidding Services, construction services/administration, other (dependent on years of experience)
  • Cost estimates

Leadership :

The ideal candidate is or has the desire to be a leader within their current organization. Internally, the candidate will be expected to provide mentoring and growth among project team members to help teach, mentor, and encourage growth of staff. Externally, the candidate will have demonstrated activity in professional organizations.

Business Development :

The selected candidate will be expected to help grow the team by participating in pre-positioning and winning projects for existing and new clients. The candidate will be involved in creating technical content for proposals (approach, scope, and fee).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: 93,787-161,699
