Inspector - Level 2 (1st shift) (Finance)



As an Inspector Level II here at Honeywell, you will ensure the quality and compliance of our aerospace products through thorough inspections and evaluations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the high standards that Honeywell is known for in the aerospace industry.

You will work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on an 1st shift (7:00am-4:00pm) onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact on the overall quality assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet both internal and external standards, which ultimately enhances customer satisfaction and safety in aviation.As an Inspector - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will ensure product quality and reliability through inspections, tests, and evaluations. Your attention to detail will support our mission of delivering top-notch products.You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an on-site work schedule.You Must Have

  • Significant experience in quality assurance or inspection within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations, including AS9100 and FAA requirements.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Experience with quality control processes and methodologies, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality inspection or a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.

  • Conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of aerospace components and parts using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.
  • Recording inspection results, noting any non-conformances, and completing detailed inspection reports. This may include creating Quality Notices (QN) and maintaining quality records.
  • Collaborating with internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, Programs, Quality Engineering...) to receive disposition of QNs or resolve issues related to Inspection Instruction details, Return-to-Vendor, etc
  • Adhering to company policies, quality procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards like ISO standards
  • Collecting data for statistical analysis, maintaining organized records of all received materials, and ensuring easy retrieval for audits.
