Position Overview
This senior role provides team leadership, strategic planning, program management and development of 4As Talent, Equity & Learning Solutions offerings as well as provides strategic counsel and guidance to the members of the agency Talent and HR community. This leader will deliver support to member agencies on Talent strategy best practices regarding retention, recruitment, professional development, leadership/management, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), and metrics. In addition, this role oversees the 4As Foundation focused on industry efforts to identify, develop, empower and ensure the most diverse talent enters and succeeds in the marketing industry.

Position Responsibilities
Evolve and grow the Talent, Equity & Learning Solutions practice across the Talent & Learning Solutions and 4As Foundation teams to deliver on member and industry needs.

Talent Solutions:
Build relationships and develop credibility with senior level talent and DEIB leaders at member agencies; become the Talent go-to resource (knowledge is currency)Serve as liaison to member agencies on all diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging related matters including measurement and progressProvide thought leadership on DEIB trends and best practices through papers (including guidance), PR & op-eds, and speaking engagementsAssess and develop relationships with professional consultants in the areas of talent and DEIB who can assist member agenciesCollaborate with the Business Intelligence & Insight team to collect and analyze employment data, and lead the annual diversity (data) survey analysis and reportLead the 4As Chief Talent & People Officer (CTPO) Committee; provide strategic input and drive key actions and deliverablesManage four regional HR Committees (with Director Agency HR & Talent Solutions) partnering with the regional representatives of the 4As Member Engagement & Development teamLead programming efforts for annual Talent Advantage Conference (virtual) partnering with MarComms & Events and Partnerships teamsContribute to the overall associations revenue growth through retention and new membership, conference attendance and sponsorship, and training/education programs
Learning Institute
Support SVP, Learning Institute to lead the organizational response to member and partner needs regarding learning and developmentGuide and support member agencies with professional development and learning for employees through bespoke content and partnerships via the Learning InstituteEnsure the team consistently identifies areas for innovation and refinement (includes curricula, suppliers/partners, formats, etc.) Evaluate all industry shifts and hot topics through a training lens with the goal of delivering leading industry training of skills for agencies evolving needsIdentify relevant and timely thought topics to translate into training materials and/or content for the industryOversee budget and CRM tracking (via Sales Cloud) of sales deliverables with the team
4As Foundation
Support SVP, 4As Foundation to lead the operation and deliver ongoing growth and expansion goals including budget oversightOversee the 4As Foundation with the SVP, 4As Foundation leading the development of the strategic plan to launch, evolve and execute programsBuild awareness of the advertising and marketing communications industry among diverse constituencies and organizations (e.g. AEF) through broad outreach, marketing and communicationsPartner with the 4As Foundation Board Executive Committee to align on the strategic plan and efforts for the FoundationSupport all 4As Foundation efforts including scholarships, education programs and impactful initiatives including the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) and MAIP Alumni communities, Vanguard, 365BLACKPRINT and Dear Black TalentDevelop significant new funding streams (with SVP) to grow the Foundations resources and drive fundraising efforts including grantsSupport SVP, 4As Foundations oversight of the Diversity Steering Committee
Team Leadership:
Oversee and provide leadership and guidance to the team (18 people) including the growth and professional development of all team membersMentor and coach direct reports via regular candid feedback and performance reviews (twice annually)

4As Leadership Role:
As an active member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), collaborate and partner on organizational goals and priorities with colleagues and help in the successful execution of organizational priorities and financial goals
