Job Summary
We are seeking a trustworthy, respectful, and driven Engineer to join our team. This individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives in production and support the design and development of custom hydraulic cylinders from concept through production. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, an effective communicator, and someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This role involves approximately 60% office work and 40% time on the production floor. Initial training and support will be provided by team members to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and validate fixtures, processes, and equipment to improve production quality, efficiency, and consistency
Collaborate with the Production Manager and staff on the development and rollout of new tools and processes
Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive solutions
Train team members on new equipment and procedures to ensure successful adoption
Use the ERP system to document processes and create clear work instructions
Design and engineer custom welded hydraulic cylinders based on customer requirements
Provide detailed production drawings and bills of materials
Conduct failure analysis to anticipate and prevent product issues
Offer technical support to both internal teams and customers
