The Opportunity

• Greet all patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Answer and screen incoming phone calls and take and relay messages in a timely manner.
• Collect payments for services rendered and discharge patients and accurately post/document payments received.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workstation.
• Schedule appointments and process patient registration into the computer database.
• Flexible to work an 8-hour schedule between 7:30am - 7:30 pm (including possible weekends).

Required Experience and Competencies

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or as a Medical Receptionist.
• Medical assistant experience or interest is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, and numerical aptitude.
• Proficient in notetaking with clarity and correct spelling.
• Basic computer skills.

The Practice

Jovive Urgent Care - Flying C - Cameron Park, California

• 5+ patient care rooms with an annual volume of 8,000.
• M-F 8am-6pm and Sat-Sun and Holidays 9a-5p.
• Must be comfortable not only with procedures but handling medical issues.
• Must be able to see all ages including newborn care thru geriatrics.
• Additional services include point of care testing, X-ray, limited laboratory and limited pharmacy.

Salary range for this role is $17.47 - $21.40 per hour.
