View Point Health is a community behavioral health agency utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions.

Under broad supervision, the Human Resources Generalist may serve as a lead in human resources functions, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and personnel/payroll transactions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.Promote awareness of View Point Health within the community and surrounding areas, to build pipelines for recruitment.Develop, facilitate, and attend job fairs to promote and attract qualified talent to View Point Health. Attracts applicants by using newsgroups and external resources.Post vacant positions to agency job boards and local partner job boards.Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, screening resumes, and assisting hiring managers with individual interviews.Collects and processes pre-onboarding paperwork from applicants.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.Combines ability to communicate trust with people at all levels with energetic partnering skills.As part of the HR team, provides multiple human resources services in support of an organization. May be asked to cross train and assist in daily transactions, recruitment, training, and other human resource functions.Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of professional human resource experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Generalist 2 (HRP011) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.Experience with HRIS PeopleSoft, Taleo, and UKG.Strong communications, interpersonal, and analytical skillssolid understanding of HR policies, employment laws.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Requirements/Competencies:
Position may require somelocal travel, must have own transportation.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.

Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
