Your Role: Night Shift Coordinator
The basic purpose of this position is to provide technical direction and supervision in the production areas according to company policies and corporate business plans, to provide technical competence and a source of escalation on the shift, to ensure a safe workplace through proper training of the work force and to implement and maintain compliance status (cGMP, OSHA) within the operations departments.
Your Responsibilities:
Prioritize Safety and Quality: Ensure all personnel and manufacturing activities operate with a "Safety First, Quality Always" mindset.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot production issues, document findings, and implement effective solutions.
Training and Development: Keep personnel trained on scientific principles, time management, GMPs, technical requirements, and relevant policies/regulations.
Communication: Maintain open communication with management regarding departmental progress, problems, employee performance, new ideas, and other pertinent information.
Policy Administration and Collaboration: Administer company policies (including safety programs and union contract terms) and effectively interface with team leaders and employees.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
BS + 1 years of relevant experience or AA + 3 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant experience.
Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, organization and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability and aptitude to train and utilize workers in a multi-faceted environment.
What Will Give You the Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications):
Preferred experience in biological/pharm production environment and biological/pharm manufacturing equipment.
