Test Technician (401K, Full-time, First Shift) (Manufacturing)



At Magnetic Specialties, we design and manufacture custom transformers and magnetic components for a wide range of industries. As a small but fast-paced shop, our Test Technicians play a vital role in ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets exacting quality standards. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in making sure every unit performs exactly as it should. Once trained, youll find the work consistent, engaging, and rewarding, every day you're helping to deliver precision-built solutions to our customers.

As a Test Technician at Magnetic Specialties in Telford, PA, youll work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, preparing and verifying production units to ensure they meet our high standards. Youll play a crucial role in our operations by maintaining quality, ensuring safety, and supporting various shop functions as needed. With the right mindset, technical ability, and attention to detail, youll find plenty of opportunities to grow and contribute to the team.

Day to day you will:
Verify that production units are built in accordance with shop printsPrepare units for in-house testingInspect and provide disposition for in-process and final tested unitMaintain and calibrate test equipmentAssist in other production areas as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow work instructions and all applicable safety and quality proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What you need to thrive in this role
High School Diploma or GEDManufacturing, electrical, machine operating, or testing experience is preferredStrong attention to detail and a commitment to product qualityThe ability to work efficiently and safely with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsA positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skillsWillingness to learn and accept new assignments or responsibilitiesThe ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand throughout your shiftPrior experience with test equipment, inspection, or basic mechanical assembly is a plus
