Job SummaryThe Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for assessing and recommending organizational improvements. This role partners with cross-functional teams, Centers of Excellence and key business stakeholders to identify opportunities to positively impact the companys key business strategies, goals and metrics by evaluating organizational structures, operations, resources, and processes. This position recommends appropriate process improvements and applies change management principles to optimize the organizations performance.Essential FunctionsRecommends organizational improvements through research and analysis of organizational communication systems, processes, procedures, structures and utilization of resources.Works cross-functionally to facilitate organizational development and change.Analyzes key People metrics, including business metrics that correlate where appropriate, to recommend talent-related organizational solutions using a systems theory approach, considering selection, onboarding, training and development.Identifies data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets to best meet business needs.Assists in the development and implementation of talent initiatives, programs, and other solutions to meet and anticipate organizational needs.Measures the effectiveness of talent initiatives, programs, and other solutions by creating and utilizing relevant listening systems and other data.Assists with business optimization initiatives as part of a cross-functional team.Maintains an in-depth knowledge of best practices in all areas of talent management and organizational effectiveness.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
