Copy Of IT Support Analyst (Information Technology)



The Infrastructure Support Analyst role will be responsible for monitoring Service Desk tickets and resolving end user requests within established SLAs. This role will also be responsible for administering and maintaining key Infrastructure systems, Active Directory, Veeam backup and replication, SCCM, and VMWare environments. Candidate must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work at all stages.
Responsibilities

Provide support for the end-user community including remote users reinforcing SLAs to manage end-user expectations. Provide support for remote offices traveling to the remote offices when required. Active Directory and Azure/O365 administration including maintaining end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Install, support and maintain network hardware and virtual/physical server environments providing after hours business critical support when required. Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, Windows updates and security patches. Perform Veeam Backup Administration including performing monthly system restores. Detect and prevent potential threats and security incidents by assisting team with risk assessments and remediation efforts. Monitor network, cloud services, and employee computers for security incidents. Thoroughly record information into Service Desk ticket system to ensure resolution in compliance with service level agreements.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification
Bachelors degree in technology or computer science or minimum 3 years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge & Experience
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and associated network equipment. Proficient in server virtualization technologies (VMware). Proficient understanding of Windows systems including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy. Microsoft O365 Tenant administration experience including Exchange, Azure AD, One Drive, and MFA administration. Proficient understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with firewalls, SIEMs, antivirus, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems. SCCM administration. General knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN or NAS. Independent thinker with a strong sense of urgency and strong customer service skills. Ability to comfortably life 50 pounds. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
