Sr HR Coordinator (Northbrook, IL) (Human Resources)
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Sr HR Coordinator provides administrative support for human resource staff and related operations. This individual communicates human resource services, initiatives, and programs to other department staff and employees as necessary. In addition, the Coordinator ensures the organization's current HR requirements are met and the HR strategy is implemented effectively. The Sr HRC also coaches and provides support to other HR coordinators.Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to the HR department.
Develop and maintain HR reporting (headcount report, bonus tracking, and performance evaluations).
Assist in delivery of various human resources programs and procedures for the company and employees.
Assist with employee training by coordinating training sessions and maintaining employee records/database/tracking.
Provide timely follow-up on employee's leaves of absence and worker's compensation. Secure return to work documentation.
Maintain employee paperwork and personnel files on OnBase.
Identifies areas of opportunity in current processes and communicate to HR team for review.
Participate in key HR projects as requested.
Provide support to HR Coordinator role through daily work oversight, escalated issue resolution, and mentoring.
Provide guidance to HR coordinator role on HR processes and policies.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High school diploma.
Certification / Licensure:
None required.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of previous Human Resources experience.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$23.25 - $32.50 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
