Program Lead (Finance)



YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's* degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Must have 5 years of experience with the following: Project Execution and Management from start to finish; experience with communication and coordination with customer and other trades in regularly scheduled meetings; experience utilizing business tools to organize, schedule, and track project task; and experience reporting project status to all stakeholders, including executive level personnel.
  • A Project Management Professional certification is required.
  • Up to 50% domestics travel required.
  • Telecommuting is permitted up to two (2) times per week.
  • *Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Program Lead for Honeywell International, Inc. in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Supply project planning, fiscal responsibility and serve as the central point of communication to the customer.
  • Provide leadership of the project team covering the planning and coordination, scheduling, financial and cost management, contract administration and customer communications, deliverables and relationships of an assigned project.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, at margin, with complete customer satisfaction.
  • Direct project team consisting of functional project engineers, site manager and commissioning engineer.
  • Prepare, publish, distribute and maintain a project schedule with milestones for all disciplines and customer constraints.
  • Execute contract as sold.
  • Facilitate project scope changes and clarify and mitigate contract issues.
  • Ensure up to date and accurate financial picture of their project which includes cost incurred, cost forecasting and payment.
  • Create and maintain project records, Archives proper files for retention.
  • Ensure smooth and consistent communication and exchanges of data between Customers, Project Team Members, vendors, Management and/or sales team.
  • Prepare a concise and thorough commissioning plan, cut in plans and acceptance test, managing commissioning activities of Project Team Members and ensures customer Project acceptance.
  • Join the sales team during the proposal stages of a project.
  • Ensure Safety Standards are met or exceeded throughout the life cycle of their project.
