Program Director, Research Concierge (Finance)
1. Plans, develops and administers methods, strategies and procedures for meeting program objectives; directs and oversees the daily activities of staff members.
2. Prepares and monitors the annual budget and ensures that expenditures are within budget allocation. 3. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with carrying out the objectives of the program.
4. Directs the preparation of and reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives; modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attains objectives.
5. Analyzes trends within program areas, maintaining expert awareness of program information and change needs.
6. Formulates, implements, and maintains appropriate policies and procedures concerning program administration.
7. Manages and administers grant for program, including meetings, communication coordination, scholarships and other operations.
8. May prepare or participate in the preparation of proposals to obtain grants from state and federal agencies, and private foundation sponsors.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ:
Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Support & Navigation:
• Serve as the primary liaison for research teams, helping them navigate institutional systems, policies, and services.
• Coordinate onboarding for new research teams and facilitate access to shared resources, core facilities, and compliance offices.
• Assist with project planning, milestone tracking, and coordination of cross-functional support.
Program Development & Participant Engagement:
• Design and implement an enrichment program tailored to support the research teams
• Serve as a dedicated concierge, delivering personalized guidance, connecting participants to internal and external resources, and facilitating team science relationships.
• Monitor program outcomes and make data-informed adjustments to ensure effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
Coordinate event logistics and program communications
• Identify funding opportunities and connect teams with proposal development resources.
• Facilitate introductions to potential collaborators, mentors, and subject matter experts.
• Support the development of team science initiatives, including Clinical Translational Studios or similar collaborative forums.
Launch & Manage Team Science Studios
• Launch and manage Clinical Translational Studios that promote multidisciplinary collaboration to address complex research questions.
• Coordinate recruitment of faculty experts, organize consultation panels, and support team scientists throughout the studio lifecycle.
• Develop standardized protocols, evaluation frameworks, and reporting structures to track impact and ensure sustainability.
• Serve as a liaison between researchers, institutional leadership, and external collaborators.
Operational Coordination:
• Help manage logistics for team meetings, consultations, and research events.
• Track service metrics and gather feedback to improve concierge offerings.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in a relevant field such as biomedical science, public health, education, or healthcare administration.
• Demonstrated experience in research program management, ideally within academic or clinical research settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to balance multiple complex initiatives.
