Sustainabilty Specialist (Finance)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement COIM USAs sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate ESG goals and industry best practices.Monitor, gather data, and report on sustainability performance, including carbon footprint (company and product level), energy usage, waste generation/disposal, and resource efficiency.Lead data gathering and submission for ESG reporting, disclosure projects, and rating system efforts (ie. GRI reporting, EcoVadis, Responsible Care, CDP).Collaborate with marketing and COIM global headquarters to produce sustainability reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external audiences.Identify and assess sustainability risks and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop environmentally friendly products and manufacturing processes (ie. mass balance strategy and renewable content containing materials).Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, consultants, sustainability organizations, and other industry partners.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and environmental management.
