Assessment Lead/ Lead Analyst (Finance)

Tunnel Consulting is looking for an Assessment Lead/Lead Analyst Consultant to assist our client in improving plant efficiency by conducting an assessment at their biologics CDMO facility in NY.

As part of a multi-person team, the Project Manager/Lead Analyst Consultant is responsible for planning the pre-designed assessment work, reviewing and compiling the assessment information to formulate and build the final report. Post assessment of the client site may lead this team to spearhead the implementation of the new processes.

The length of this assignment for the assessment phase will be full-time for approximately 6 weeks. Majority of the work (all assessment tasks) to be completed Onsite.

The responsibilities for this role as part of the project team will include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of operational analysis
    • Analysis design
    • Analysis team management
    • Analysis execution
    • Business case development
    • Implementation project design
    • Development of weekly report outs
    • Presentation of report outs both internally and externally to the client
  • Coordinate the assessment and all the data gathering, interviews and meetings including scheduling and logistics
    • Focus Interviews
    • Documentation Review (Current SOP's Process Flows, etc.)
    • Gap analysis - identify gaps based on review of documents and focus interviews
    • Metric Review
      • What metrics are currently being tracked
      • Cycle time for deviations, batch records, batch release
      • Deviations per batch & deviation close time
      • Batch success rate/ rejection rate
      • Scrap
    • Business Development Strategy
      • Client feedback/ satisfaction
      • Time to secure a new client
      • Review of current contracts vs industry
  • Support management of workstreams that may include:
    • Client Management (Business Development, Account Management, PMO, Client Financials and Pricing)
    • Manufacturing Operations (MS&T, CMC, Supply Chain & Procurement)
    • Quality & Regulatory
    • Organization Design, Structure and Culture
    • Process Analytical Development & Lean Labs
  • Change management
  • Synthesize data and present it to the client during various intervals of the project
  • Identify Gaps based on review of documents and focus interviews
  • Author and present final project report

The qualified Consultant will have experience in the following areas:
  • Experience in leading assessments.
  • CDMO Biologics Manufacturing
  • Consulting experience
  • Change Management/ Organizational Development experience required
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma desired (Not required)
