About the Role
Essity North America is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who is responsible for translating strategic objectives into successful IT delivery. By expertly managing projects across their lifecycle, controlling scope, resources, budget, and mitigating risks, this position ensures the delivery of meaningful business outcomes and value.
As IT Project Manager, you will be part of the central Project Delivery team and will manage IT projects of moderate to advanced complexity, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle. You will lead multi-functional teams, manage project scope, resources, budget, risks, and timelines, and ensures successful delivery of project objectives in strong alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements.
The ideal candidate should/could live in Philadelphia, PA or Santa Fe, Mexico City, Mexico.

What You Will Do
- Lead and manage IT projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and change management.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, etc.) to drive successful outcomes.
- Lead multi-functional IT project teams consisting of internal or external resources, typically from 3-10 different stakeholder groups or organizational areas, leveraging internal expertise to ensure collaboration and alignment.
- Manage project communications to ensure timely updates, informed decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
- Track and report on key project metrics, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and stay within scope and budget.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, timelines, financials, and status reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of proven leadership managing moderate to large size complexity projects
- Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies preferred
- Record of developing, tracking and reporting project plans, schedules for medium to large complexity projects
- Skilled at proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies at project level
- Knowledge of managing vendor/third-party contracts
- Skilled in managing project budget/costs and financial forecasting for medium to high complexity projects
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
