Service Coordinator (Personal Services)
Westminster Gardens in Tallahassee is seeking a Service Coordinator for its high rise senior living community. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for conducting a person-centered assessment to understand the needs of the resident and develop and modify a resident's required services. The position requires a knowledge of supportive services and other resources needed for the population of the community. The Service Coordinator must demonstrate the ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and provide results for the elderly and disabled served. The Service Coordinator will display creativity, flexibility and knowledge of various technology sources.
Minimum requirements: A B.A. degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling or related field is required. Two to three years of experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and non-elderly disabled.
