Physical Therapist - Injury Prevention (Healthcare)
Doctors of Physical Therapy On-site is currently hiring a part time Physical Therapist to partner with a leading American manufacturer in a state-of-the-art industrial setting. Focus is on injury prevention, ergonomics and wellness programming. DPT has helped keep thousands of workers safe from injury by providing innovative solutions in the field of environmental health and safety.
This proactive role focuses on coaching, education, and the development of innovative programs designed to reduce injury risks in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The role includes minimal documentation, emphasizing work such as ergonomic assessments, early intervention, body mechanics coaching, and first aid training in compliance with OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular plant walk-throughs to identify and address injury risksAttend and participate in ergonomic and safety meetingsCollaborate on ergonomic and safety redesigns of production systemsDevelop department-specific stretching and injury prevention interventions that are physiologically sound, efficient, and multiple-joint focusedDesign and implement tailored prevention strategies aligned with the facility's systemsThis role requires a physical therapist who can think creatively, stay proactive, and drive injury prevention initiatives that support a safer work environment.
Work Schedule:
Ideally 2-3 days/week within 6am-10pm excluding weekends
Approximately 22 hours a week
Rates:
Day Rate 7am - 7pm $53.00 hour
Premium evening if needed: $75.00 hour (if client requests a shift in coverage from day shift to night shift)
