Physician, Surgical Oncology (Healthcare)



As a surgeon with Highlands Oncology, you will help to bring cancer treatment HOME to the Northwest Arkansas Community.
Highlands Oncology began in 1996 with three physicians and a desire to change the face of oncology care in our community. Dr. Malcolm Hayward, Dr. Dan Bradford, and Dr. Thad Beck knew that patients do better at home, in the community where they live and work, and where their support system is already in place. In furthering that goal, Highlands has grown with the region from a single location 26 years ago, to 6 locations in Northwest and Northcentral Arkansas today employing more than 800 diverse team members.

Highlands Oncology is actively seeking an exceptionalBoard-Certified/Board Eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join our Surgical Oncology Practice. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of a growing practice, shaping its future while providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the community.
As aFellowship-Trained Colorectal Surgeon, preferablyBoard-Certified and with previous Colon and Rectal Surgery experience, you will have the opportunity to serve patients of the Northwest Arkansas area. This role offers the chance to engage in a highly rewarding, innovative practice in a well-supported environment. Highlands Oncology is the premiere oncology practice in Arkansas offering medical oncology, radiation oncology and surgical oncology services to include breast, colorectal, urologic and gynecologic specialties.

You'll coordinate follow-up care with oncology and other services based on patient needs on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Work schedules are flexible and work-life balance is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to colorectal patients, including initial consultations, the development of surgical plans, surgery, and follow-up visits in a busy practice.Work collaboratively with a highly skilled team of specialists, includingmedical oncology,radiation oncology, and other surgical services, ensuring the best possible patient care.Ensure continuity of care by coordinating follow-up care and collaborating with oncology and other services to meet the evolving needs of patients.Deliver a full range of colorectal services, leveraging advanced technology and a robust support system to optimize patient outcomes.
