Director, Corporate Meetings and Programs (Finance)



Equifax is looking for a Director, Corporate Meetings and Programs with experience in planning both meetings and high end hospitality programs. This role reports to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing and Meetings. The ideal candidate must be able to plan and execute a program from conception through execution including creation and management of a budget, timeline, management of outside vendors, regular communication with key stakeholders, and execute the plan on-site. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in high end corporate meeting planning and luxury experiences.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Brand Marketing & Meetings, this position works from our office in Alpharetta with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. (This is NOT a fully-remote role.)
What You'll Do :

  • Research, secure and manage vendors for all elements related to a specific meeting including function space, transportation, F&B, entertainment, offsite activities, sleeping rooms, etc.
  • Manage all program elements for key high level executives and attendees
  • Project manage all elements related to the planning and execution of a specific program to ensure the team hits key milestones and the program stays on time and on budget. This includes, but is not limited to: attendees/rooming lists, transportation, F&B, agenda, etc.
  • Coordinate the content process with the core planning team to ensure content and presenters are aligned to each other and the overall program goals
  • Track agenda, presenters, session titles, meeting descriptions, speakers, bios, AV needs, handouts, etc. in order to manage program Run of Show
  • Develop program websites promoting logistical information and/or online registration via Stova
  • Coordinate the execution of the marketing efforts for each program, emails, invitations, etc. including working with the Creative team to develop themes and graphics
  • Ideation and management of production process of luxury attendee gifts and giveaways
  • Work with in-house travel agency so they can support attendee travel needs
  • Craft and distribute communications to attendees pre and post program
  • Manage strategy, creation, coordination, organization and distribution of program materials (name badges, tent cards, signs, packets, and other materials)
  • Develop program budget and secure necessary approvals. Track actual spend vs. budget and report ROI as appropriate. Process and document vendor payments
What Experience You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred marketing/meeting/hospitality emphasis
  • 5+ years of experience in high end corporate meeting planning and operations
  • Experience working with c-suite executives and has executive presence
  • Ability to manage multiple fast moving projects at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders
  • Ability to work with vendors and clearly explain our needs and expectations
  • Be able to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Luxury gifting experience
  • Cvent/Stova experience preferred
  • Technically savvy
