Sr Data Management Analyst – SAP (Maintenance Module) (Finance)

Sr Data Management Analyst - SAP (Maintenance Module) is responsible for driving data transformation and migration for SAP (Maintenance) deployments as well as G.E. APM / Meridium Database (Meridium). The Data BSA is responsible for techno functional data knowledge with strong data migration process expertise to analyze and prepare data load files working with extended IT team , business users and co-source partners. Program, manage and improve SAP system data interface to Meridium, Power BI and other systems as prescribed.

You will report directly to the ESS Director of Maintenance Excellence and you will work out of our Chickasaw, AL or Baton Rouge, LA, or Shreveport, LA or Houston, TX on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

Your work will contribute to improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and driving business growth.YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in SAP technical management or a similar role.
• 6+ years' functional experience in SAP related application with configuration, table, structures for data mapping and rule definition
• Strong knowledge of SAP technical solutions, including SAP Basis, ABAP, and HANA.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

WE VALUE

• 6+ years' experience in Data Migration and full cycle experience for large, complex projects
• 6+ years' experience creating LSMW and execution, SAP like Queries and SAP transaction codes
• Working Knowledge of G.E. APM / Meridium
• Experience at a Chemical Plant / Manufacturing Site
• Working knowledge of Maintenance Excellence Work Processes
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• SAP certifications.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration.
• Experience in cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

• Manage and oversee the technical aspects of our SAP systems, including system administration, performance tuning, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in SAP technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team and end-users.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP / Meridium technologies and trends.
• Coordinating with business IT and Business System Analysts of all functional areas to design a plan for data extraction, data rationalization, data cleansing and support documentation.
• Help define data validation requirements and document the process for validation using various data extraction tools from SAP / Meridium like Queries, Power Connect, SAP tables, SAP transaction codes.
• Working with SAP & Meridium Functional Consultants to understand SAP configuration and related SAP data requirements.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of our SAP / Meridium systems.
• Ensure strategy and execution of data conversion is consistent with defined controls and procedures.
• Communicating the data conversion status to project management team through status calls, steering committee meetings.
• Provide site training on tool usage in support of the Maintenance Excellence Work Process (e.g. Planning, Scheduling, Execution, W.O. Closure).
