Vice President, Consumer Marketing (Marketing)



Job Summary

Medline Industries is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-oriented Vice President of Consumer Marketing to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for our growing consumer product portfolio—including private label, licensed, and branded products. This individual will be responsible for shaping brand and category strategy, driving consumer insights, and delivering integrated marketing programs across retail channels to accelerate growth and strengthen customer partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the creation of comprehensive consumer marketing strategies across Medline's private label, licensed, and owned brands.

  • Partner with retail customers to develop and execute joint business plans that support private label growth.

  • Oversee go-to-market strategy for new product launches and category expansion.

Private Label Strategy and Execution

  • Own and evolve Medline's private label positioning and portfolio strategy in alignment with customer and consumer needs.

  • Develop differentiated value propositions and packaging strategies to support private label success across multiple retail partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Operations to ensure excellence in execution.

Consumer and Market Insights

  • Translate consumer, customer, and category insights into actionable strategies that drive brand relevance and business impact.

  • Guide research initiatives to understand shopper behavior, channel dynamics, and emerging trends.

Brand and Omnichannel Marketing

  • Oversee brand management across product lines and ensure consistent visual identity and messaging across all touchpoints.

  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across retail, shopper, and traditional media.

  • Drive performance marketing initiatives to support e-commerce and in-store sales.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team with capabilities in brand, private label and content marketing.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Establish clear KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness, brand health, and marketing ROI.

  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously refine strategy and improve performance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).

  • 15+ years of progressive consumer marketing experience, with demonstrated success in both branded and private label strategy.

  • Proven experience evaluating and designing effective marketing team structures, defining roles and responsibilities, and leading organizational change.

  • Experience working with major retail partners and leading integrated marketing efforts across channels.

  • Strong background in developing data-driven marketing strategies based on consumer insights.

  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and influence across a matrixed organization.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$175,760.00 - $263,640.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
