Position Summary
The Deployment Operations Technician within the Infrastructure Engineering+ Technology organization supports the Innovation Operations Manager in evaluating and improving network deployment solutions at Crown Castle.
Essential Job Functions
Education/Certifications
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Performing installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and networks
Testing and delivering high-speed telecommunications services
Operating a variety of telecommunications test and construction equipment (Example: Concrete Saws, Core Drills, Vacuums, Skid Steers, Forklifts, etc.)
Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless construction or civil construction
Knowledge of Public and Private right-of-way project deployment
Ability to understand basic construction processes

Reports to: Operations Deployment Lead
Working Conditions: Works onsite 5 days per week at our Austin, TX facility. Exposure to RF emissions, construction materials, noise, and wastes. Physical demands of lifting, stooping, standing for extended periods, getting in/out of misc. equipment, and climbing ladders in adverse weather and heat. Travel required up to 30% of the time to include overnight trips.
Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $28.19 - $40.52 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
