Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Manufacturing Parts Manager to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC or Garner, NC!

We make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers' warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers' warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business.

Manufacturing Parts Manager Role Overview

The Manufacturing Parts Manager is responsible for supporting all manufacturing sites by managing parts and services spent within the given budget, auditing processes and procedures, conducting training, creating spend forecasts, and overseeing a team of 1-3 people at each plant. This role involves seeking cost-effective replacement parts, establishing relationships with OEMs and local vendors, providing periodic cost analysis of all expenditures, and tracking all expenses to the P&L. The Parts Manager leads the team to support the plant through focused efforts on sourcing, cost reduction, and ensuring parts availability.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts and services are ordered accurately and timely.
  • Manage parts and services spend.
  • Create spend forecasts and reports.
  • Maintain detailed records of parts and services ordered and received.
  • Ensure parts room organization and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage parts availability to support plant needs.
  • Monitor and leverage vendors for pricing, cost reduction, and supply.
  • Lead and support parts department team members.
  • Ensure efficient operations through cross-functional collaboration with various departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and at least one (1) year of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED and three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Must have and maintain a valid NC Driver License and be able to meet and maintain PBV's driving guidelines.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of inventory/purchasing experience.
  • Strong SAP skills related to purchasing and inventory.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
