ABOUT THE ROLE

Supervise the Billing Team members and provide oversight and analysis of the billing process and prepares and distributes statistical reports.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Billing Team to ensure the efficient flow of the monthly billings
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and monthly closing aspects of the general accounting functions
  • Maintain the integrity of the billing processes and ensure that SOX, GAAP and Crown company policies are adhered to.
  • Prepare entries for the general ledger in compliance with established rules and principles of general accounting.
  • Complete account reconciliations on a timely basis.
  • Create and maintain metrics for the Billing Team.
  • Work with other functional areas including Legal, Sales, Order Support, Credit and Collections, and Customer Service to assure accurate and timely flow of information into financials.
  • Assist in documentation and development of department processes.
  • Handle all requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Statistical reports as required.
  • Train all new team members for billing within the guidelines and policies of the Accounts Receivable Department.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, performance feedback and quarterly “Career Check-Ups” to Billing Team Staff Accountants.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or similar  Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ of experience in a related accounting position Required
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles Required
  • NCRM/RECVUE/ORACLE experience Preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Preferred not required

Where You Will Work

Hybrid: This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Monday and Friday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $69300 - $95300 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
