THE BUSINESS UNIT

Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) is a key business unit within Honeywell International Inc., providing automation and control technologies for various industries, including oil and gas, chemicals, and manufacturing. HPS focuses on enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of industrial processes.

ROLE

As a Pricing Director here at Honeywell Process Solutions, you will work closely with product management, field sales and service organization and the senior management team to maximize the profitability of Honeywell Process Solutions by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will analyze market drivers and competition to determine the price of new products and price revisions of existing products. You will report directly to Industrial Automation's VP for Pricing and matrix report to VP and CCO for HPS. You'll work out of our Houston, TX location. You will help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of pricing results for Honeywell Process Solutions
  • Leadership and tactical execution of end-to-end pricing strategy.
  • Partner with Global Business Enterprise (GBE) and industrial vertical leaders to deliver on price results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive pricing initiatives and achieve business objectives
  • Understand market and competitor pricing -analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Implement pricing analytics (methodology and tools) to support targeted outcomes. Support CPQ utilization in HPS and mine CPQ data for pricing insights.
  • Drive a culture of value price to ensure appropriate value capture for all New Products Introduced. Lead deployment of SaaS pricing in HPS for value capture.
  • Lead list price evaluation process and contract escalations.
  • Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing changes and performance
  • Implement, track and report schedule of executive approval and discount management

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 12+ years of work experience
  • 2+ years of pricing/ product management/ business finance experience

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong financial modeling skills as demonstrated by the ability to create pricing structures and P&L analysis with multiple scenarios
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to derive insights from large/abstract data sets and summarize for executive consumption
  • Results-focused with a successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution
  • Experience leading a global team with demonstrated results
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Understanding ERPs/data systems
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding linking price and business strategy
  • Price management tools experience preferred: PROS software, Deal Desk, Tableau-based tools
  • Strong self-starter who can manage tasks with little guidance
  • Proactive and proficient communicator with good listening skills
  • Logical thinking ability with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them
