Client Services Manager, Global Sponsorship & Advertising (Finance)



Opportunity at a Glance

The Client Services Manager, Global Sponsorship and Advertising, will lead the integration, development, and deployment of client sponsorship and advertising programs that support the revenue responsibilities for the Global Sponsorship & Advertising team. This person will manage deliverables for all clients, ensuring client marketing/advertising objectives are met and exceeded. The person in this role will also manage inter-departmental relationships with ACAMS regional marketing, operations, program, events, and sales teams, to ensure that client assets are being tracked and delivered against contracts, providing best-in-class service to our sponsors and advertisers. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for a fast-paced environment, delivering high impact program results to our clients in various formats, including global event sponsorship, digital advertising, custom webinars, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Leader of Global Sponsorship Sales in a very dynamic, fast-paced and mission-critical division of ACAMS
  • Manage the execution of all client sponsorship deliverables and navigate both internal and external channels to maximize client value and ensure contracted execution
  • Allocate and coordinate internal and external resources efficiently to optimize client value
  • Develop comprehensive plans for tracking sponsorship engagement and contract fulfillment, outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Monitor client program progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Analyze client program outcomes, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, web, program, events and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client sponsorship commitments
  • Generate regular project status reports, performance metrics, and post-event evaluations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage logistics, relevant event vendor partnerships, and on-site execution to create impactful experiences for clients
  • Oversee the planning and execution of sponsored events, activations, and promotional campaigns, ensuring they align with client expectations and organizational goals
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, client revenue, and ROI to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Completes other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Events, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, client/sponsor activation, client/sponsor services, events, programming
  • Familiarity with the industry or domain in which the sponsorship projects are taking place
  • Awareness of relevant trends, competitors, and market dynamics
  • Candidate must have executive presence with excellent communication skills and be a self-starter who can take a simple idea/ask and turn it into a detailed project with limited guidance
  • Capacity to identify potential risks, roadblocks, and challenges in sponsorship projects
  • Ability to develop contingency plans and problem-solving strategies
  • Passionate about delivering best-in-class client service in areas of event planning, promotion, and execution
  • Experience with leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Proven understanding of CRM and data tools (Salesforce strongly preferred along with Smartsheet, ExpoGenie, Cvent and other event-related tracking software)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Skilled in navigating matrixed organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, highly organized with attention to detail, and adept at multi-tasking and adapting to evolving priorities
