Arvin Post Acute is currently hiring a dedicated and energetic Rehab Tech with CNA Certification to join our therapy team. This dual-role position supports both the therapy department and nursing staff, ensuring that residents receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapy staff (PT, OT, and SLP) with treatment setup, resident transfers, and exercise programs
- Transport residents to and from therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Document resident participation and support accurate recordkeeping
- Perform CNA duties as needed, including assisting with ADLs, hygiene, toileting, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents during rehabilitation
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of therapy services
- Current California CNA certification (required)
- Prior experience in rehab or therapy support preferred
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- CPR certification (preferred)
