Off Site Linen Worrker (Project Management)

Linen Distributor – Full Time
Location: Macon, GA
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (Off Sunday and Monday)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time off-site linen Distributor at our Macon healthcare laundry facility. The ideal candidate will be confident in decision-making, responsive, and possess strong communication skills. Schedule & Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday

  • Days Off: Sunday and Monday

Essential Functions:

  • Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas

  • Collect soiled linen and return it to the designated collection points

  • Verify quantities of delivered linen

  • Perform linen inventory as required

  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally

  • Maintain open communication with supervisors on any service or quality issues

  • Provide excellent customer support and build strong client relationships

  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas

  • Adhere to all safety policies and institutional protocols

  • Operate department equipment as needed

  • Perform general clerical duties (e.g., typing, answering phones)

  • Meet Joint Commission Standards

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or a similar field

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Receptive to giving and receiving feedback

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications
