Machinist - Level 2 - 2nd Shift (Finance)

This is a Second Shift Position

As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled machinists and engineers to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will be essential in meeting our production goals.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by:
- Setting up and operating machines such as EDM's and grinders to produce parts according to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and making adjustments as necessary using measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, and Indicators. Both analog and digital.
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.

Days/Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm - 2:00am

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met utilizing inspection methods and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment or processes using RPS and/or RCCA

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will ensure efficient machining processes, lead a team, and collaborate to meet production goals and quality standards, optimizing schedules and improving operations. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Greer. SC location on a 2nd shift work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist or similar role

• Proficiency in operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, EDMs' and grinders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Technical Certification or diploma in machining or related field
• Knowledge of quality contril processes and procedures
